Websites for physios

People looking for a physio want to know three things: can I get in this week, what will it cost after my health fund, and what happens at the first visit. We build physio sites that answer all three, within the rules for health advertising.

Our demo on a phone: one site, built for six made-up businesses.

Within the rules

Physiotherapy is a regulated health service, so advertising it, including on your website, has to follow the National Law and Ahpra’s advertising guidelines: no testimonials about clinical care, nothing that creates an unreasonable expectation of treatment, and clear terms on any offer.

That rules out the usual wall of five-star reviews, so we lean on what you can show: your registration, your fees and rebates, your hours, and a plain explanation of the first visit. It’s also what new patients tend to look for.

What new patients check first

  • When the next appointment is
  • Fees and health fund rebates
  • Whether they need a referral
  • WorkCover and DVA
  • Parking and access
  • What happens at the first visit

Our Demo Physio site answers each of these, with no testimonials.

What your site gets

The same standard as every site we build, set up for physios. See our prices and work out yours.

  • Fees and rebates up frontWhat a first visit and follow-ups cost, and that rebates are claimed on the spot.
  • The first visit, explainedWhat happens, how long it takes and what to wear, in place of testimonials.
  • Appointment requestsA short form, or a link to the booking system you already use.
  • Registration shownEach practitioner’s Ahpra registration, where people can check it.
  • Access and parkingGround floor, ramps and parking, because many patients are sore when they arrive.
  • Words and photos, sortedWe write the pages from a call or voice message, within the health advertising rules.

Demo Physio is one of six made-up businesses on our demo site, built to show how we work: fees and health fund rebates up front, what happens at a first visit, and an appointment request, with no testimonials. See Demo Physio live (opens in a new tab) or see it part by part.

Physio questions

Can I put patient reviews on my website?

Not reviews about clinical care. Under the National Law, advertising a regulated health service can’t use testimonials, and your website is advertising. Comments about things like friendly staff or easy parking aren’t testimonials, but we keep it simple and explain the first visit instead.

Can you link to my practice’s booking system?

Yes. If you already use online booking, every page links to it. Otherwise a short appointment request form sends each request to your inbox.

Do you write the clinical pages?

We write them from what you tell us, in plain words, and you check every word before anything goes live. You stay responsible for clinical accuracy.
